Another day.

May 24, 2008

Yesterday I found out I have enough to easily afford a car and an education…I think.

I mean, I thought everything was okay. But explaining a crazy scheme to a customer at work today, we got on the topic of university and goals and the likes. When I said my goal was to get out of University debt free, she had just taken a sip of coffee. She keeled over and nearly spit it out and/or choked or something from laughter.

I’m not crazy, am I? Just ambitious is all…right?

Right?

You can totally do it. Are you saving right now? Put as much as you can in a Roth IRA, you can withdraw the contents for education TAX FREE. If you make it a goal, it is totally possible.

    Kurt,

I figured I’d come check out your blog as thanks for not banning me on the BenHeck forums! LOL.

I’ll tell you, you’re NOT crazy on your goal. You will have to work very hard. I graduated from college with about 9,000 in debt and people were saying I did really well. Scholarships, saving, and working your butt off can make it a reality. Living at home would probably help too. If I had done that, I’d be debt free!
